After years of working in the substance abuse field, as well as having two sons that struggled with Substance abuse, Yvonne has seen it all. Whether it was as the mother of two children struggling, or as the Director of a "corporate treatment center", she saw the corruption and watched the cycle of abuse continue for her own family and many others. After experiencing these situations, Yvonne decided the only way to see a change is to make one! So comes the beginning of Balance Recovery Center in early 2018!
There is only one way to master a craft and that is experience and when it comes to the many different paths of recovery, Jill has more than we know what to do with. Since our opening in January 2018 Jill has been a pioneer in providing very individualized treatment plans for our clients. Coming from the background of a high volume non-profit center, Jill shares in our common values of staying on the side of right with every decision.
As an individual in long term recovery, Sam has gone from struggling with substance abuse himself to creating a new life with a main goal of helping others. We feel there is no better connection than the one that ties an individual in recovery with the individual struggling to recover. Sam's strengths are being in very intuitive and being able to make a client see themselves as others do. He not only helps to implement a client's treatment plan but also uses his life experiences to guide our clients to a better way of living.
When looking to separate ourselves from other programs, it is important to find medical individuals that are unique as well. Summer Silverman, or Dr.Summer as we call him, is just that. After spending a great deal of years traveling the world, providing medical services, completing first responder training, Dr.Summer not only has a great deal of knowledge of substance abuse, but also a passion for helping people to perfect their health. And he has a pretty cool accent now too...
Hyacinth shares Yvonne's determination in setting Balance Recovery Center apart from any other program. Although new to the field with a business background, Hyacinth has a new found passion for watching our clients grow and succeed. Aside from keeping our programming running, Hyacinth fell into the role of second mother for not only our clients, but our staff as well.
Being a strong woman in the recovery community, Kailah has an immense amount of experience in helping others find their path. With her role here at Balance, along with operating her women's sober living home, it is clear to see Kailah has dedicated her life to helping those who struggle. Also as an individual in long term recovery, Kailah finds it to be exhilarating to watch an individual enter into Recovery themselves.
